Default What exactly are rookie photo shoot autos?

Are they the same concept as next day autos? There doesn’t seem to be any sort of distinction

abraxio, I think they are the same concept but different companies use different names. Next Day is Panini, Rookie Photo Shoot is Topps. I believe Upper Deck had Same Day at one point.

topps had the rookies sign the cards at the rookie premiere event.

many cards got out that were not signed and then faked

Topps has been doing it for ages. Panini actually follows Topps.

That or for rookies who were at the shoot and are in photos from those sessions -- to differentiate from other rookie sets.
