It looks like they are winning by scratching & clawing their way into runs...

Now imagine if that they traded that Ohtani bum and had James Wood and MacKenzie Gore. Maybe even Jackson Merrill.

On an earnest note, really like the young core of Neto, O'Hoppe, etc. They really gotta get something for Ward though and build up the rotation after Kikuchi.

I hope Arte sells the team to someone willing to invest in greater player development. I still have hope for a Freeway World Series someday...

Really enjoying watching them bond and play like a team. It gives us a tiny bit of hope for the future.

O’Hoppe is fun to watch. Glad they have a healthy young catcher who can hit.

They are a even more impressive 11-5 in their past 16 games. The Angels have played some strong teams over this run, sweeping the Dodgers, playing very well vs SD, etc.

Could the Angels be grinding Trout’s rehab because the team is jelling without him in the lineup ?

You haven't figured out yet that every Trout injury turns into a multi-month vacation for him?

The difference in this injury is that he is telling the media he is feeling great. It’s the Angels organization that is keeping him on a powder puff rehab. At this point of his career he use to crush his team by not being in the lineup but now the Angels seemingly are satisfied by keeping him out.
The Angels are averaging a run more per game without him. Instead of folding the tents they have fought back into contention.

Next time he's "healthy", trade him for the pieces they need.

I’d expect to see Arnold/Doyle/Anderson on the mound this year
