Monumental UD Boxes and Fanatics UW Boxes Last Day...

Does anyone know if UD and/or Fanatics lowered their price points on the Monumental Boxes and UW Boxes?

Also, saw the Ovechkin box was pulled by kid. Super happy for him but just wondering if Fanatics gave him the loaded box.

Thoughts?

Price points never dropped, still plenty left on the last day.

Blowout lowered a lot of box prices on the lower end of things Sunday. Fanatics did not.

A lot of the mystery boxes were up to the workers. We went to the B/O booth and mentioned how we got skunked on the 4 they shipped. We bought 2 more to take back to the hotel and both were hits. I'm not thrilled with Packman being given the case for a hit but I love that one of them went to the kid of someone who posts here. I would say the chances are high that the Ovechkin was deliberately given to a kid...and I'm glad it was.

I'm not saying I agree with it but I've been around long enough to know nothing is 100% random in this hobby. It would be nearly impossible to do logistically but the only way you can insure complete randomness is writing numbers on each mystery box (regardless if it's a Tristar mystery jersey, Megamix, or Fanatics box) and then have someone pick a number out of a tumbler. In other words, a double blind draw.

I meant I disagree with your conclusion that the boxes were given to packman knowing the case hit was in there, or that the blowout workers knew the 2 boxes they were giving you had bonuses.
