Default Cut junk era card artwork

Hi everyone...wanted to share my work with you here on BO. I take commons, mostly junk era, and cut them into small pieces. I then rearrange the pieces into larger works of art. Pieces generally take 50-60 hours, with some taking much longer. The sizes are in the 22"x28" range, though many are skinnier/taller/wider depending on the original card size. Most are commissions and have already sold (and I only do each piece once), but there are a few I still own. Thanks for checking out my work, and I look forward to talking to many of you....

Awesome stuff as always, Tim.

I was looking at my old trades on The Bench the other day, and your name (among others) made me wonder "where the heck did they go?!?" Good to see you're still around the hobby.

Do you collect much any more? I kind of took a bit of a trading hiatus myself and wasn't real active, with just the occasional trade here or there, for a good 3-5 years. Back into it again with some more force the last year and a half or so.

Again, fantastic work and good to see your name pop up!

Take care,
Kirby

Kirby, my friend! Good to hear from you. I do collect a little, but it is mostly NCAA baseball themed stuff with my boys. When we moved out here to Conway several years ago we took on season tix to Coastal Baseball games. Needless to say, winning that CWS 2 years ago lit my boys on fire with collecting players we saw at the stadium.

Appreciate it, Tanner! I was going through old emails and saw that I had joined BO back in 2013, but I never followed through by posting. Huge mistake, because the welcoming here has been great.

No wash, no water colors. 100% cut cards with zero embellishing. Sometimes it takes a bit to go through the commons and find the colors that match, but that's how knowing exactly what the shade of grass in the backgrounds of Donnis Moore's 1987 Topps card helps me out. The cards bring me back!
