If it was the real PP, not so much now.

But I should watch some breaks first before passing judgement.

Found a seller on EBay in the early 2000 in Florida that had 2 sealed cases of 96 Press Pass Football. The pull ratio was absolute horrible. I purchased was was equal to another case of 96 and again the pulls were not equal to the stated odds. The 96 had by far the best quality as far as the hobby version.

I watched a half case and not impressed. Another watered down leaf product.

I absolutely loved press pass from 1997-2010. Only design I didn’t like was 2002 but the JE and power picks were nice.

I was one of the few looking forward to this, but the first box I saw the design didn't really pop to me the way a Metal does, best card was the die-cut but I dunno expected a bit more flash, which is usually Leaf specialty.

Leaf "execs" after securing the defunct Press Pass property for pennies and thinking up ways of how to make money hand over fist off of it

I still don’t understood why leaf does not pony up to get some licenses if onit can do it.

No lies detected. A lot of the card designs looked clean and still hold up today.

Picked up an Alstott Saturday Signature recently:

For my money, I can't beat the original Press Pass Legends.

I used to buy Press Pass right before the draft to see if I could hit a Packers auto from that draft class. Even if it was a 7th rounder, it was still fun to get someone drafted by them. Didn't hurt the blasters were under 20 bucks, either, and would always have at least one auto. College stuff nowadays sucks the soul out of that, including Leaf stuff...

Wish I had done the Press Pass Bowl Edition. They are tough cards to come across at shows. Beautiful looking cards.

Amen, brother. They were low end offerings but produced some nice looking on-card autos. Now everything is twice the price and way less fun to open.

Here's my Stafford Press Pass auto:

Older Press Pass is criminally underrated.

On card with some nice penmanship. Can’t beat that

It was good while it lasted.

I guess I'm just an oldhead yelling at the clouds at this point, but I miss some of those card designs.

Pringles tasted better back then, too.

Yes, 100%.

I have a couple nostalgia 1989 NFL sets and random things from my childhood days, but I'm glad I was in school for a lot of this stuff... so I'm not susceptible to the corny cash grab reboots.

I didn’t love press pass but the on card autos were nice. My favorite pull for me was from a box of 2009 Press Pas Legends Dual of Lee Corso and Deion Sanders and was the chase card on the sale sheet!

Morons are buying it all up regardless.

The year Oress Pass did the Bowl Edition, those boxes were scooped and gone in no time. Forgot the year but they were one of the hottest boxes.
