Fanatics Under Wraps Emanate

I received a really strange call today. At first, I thought it was a fake, but it was a Topps employee calling to ask if I wanted to buy Fanatics Under Wraps Emanate. I did not know what to make of the call. They reviewed my order history on Topps before they called. They offered to "let" me buy Emanate before it is available to the public on July 17. They then asked if there's stuff I would be interested in, they may call me before it goes on sale to the public with availability exclusions.

Has anybody else received similar calls from Topps? What should I make of that? Will I get a chance to buy things from them that are maybe more in demand?

I'm not sure what to make of Emanate. The stuff looks really nice, just the typical outsized checklist. Obviously, hoping to get a lowered numbered good player.

Yeah, I kinda wonder if they couldn't sell it at Fanatics Fest. Either way, I mean, if they use that to let me buy something else like sapphire early...that'd be fantastic.

Or if it is Emanate, they could make cool glow-in-the-dark cards, like Ginter has sometimes.

Someone else made a post a while back getting a similar call to buy product. Not sure who it was that posted it but I bet if you dug around you can find it.

Pretty sure they sold out every day at Fanatics fest, as there was a line for each of the releases at that booth.

What does that exactly mean other than I spend way too much opening wax? lol! I mean, if I got to get sapphire or Brooklyn collection boxes and such, I wouldn’t complain one bit. But if it’s just phone calls for flagship when I order that online anyway, ehhh…anything I should ask the rep for that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to get?

Not much tbh. Once you've spent a little money on Fanatics, they will have a sales rep start sending you buy offers. They aren't really a deal, it's just a solicitation. Sometimes they're useful, but rarely.
