I think this is the second or third year of the product.
Though in the past, they didn't name it "Shoebox Treasures" and it was "Spotlight Baseball".
I'm not a fan of the art, so I won't be buying regardless of the checklist.

The problem is that he's not actually a very good artist.

I can think of quite a few better artists to do a set like this, including Juan Rosales, who is a member of these boards and has done inserts for other Topps products, or any of the artists from Topps Living.

I guess different art speaks to different people, but this guy isn't very good IMO. They couldn't find a better artist for a set like this?

Good news, bad news?

I received an email from Topps that "2025 Topps Shoebox Treasures by Andy Friedman" "has experienced a delay" and that "You can expect new tracking information when the product(s) ships. We expect this order to ship no later than 10/23/2025."

They are offering a chance to cancel: "Due to this delay, your order may be eligible for cancellation..."

Is anyone cancelling because of this? I was just glad to hear that they planned on shipping this by October 23rd myself.

Not the first time Topps has delayed a product. Not cancelling on my end. I am used to waiting with them.

I got the same email, but then a FEDEX shipping confirmation for it (and actual tracking started, not just label printing).

The "art" is so bad, I can't believe anybody ordered this in the first place!!!

Different strokes - I think the shiny Prizm stuff is trash, but people seem to enjoy it? I didn't pretty well adding some cool stuff to the PC and selling some numbered things to more than make up for last year's box. I'm excited to open mine.
