1992 fleer team leader print run? is 10k too high?

i know these were in 5/6 rack packs so almost 1 per pack but i got no clue how common 42 card rack packs were produced and cant find anything after searching

psa pop of jordan is 936 total graded and 1602 if u add up the whole set

was always curious about this set since i was a kid seeing this set with up arrows in beckett but my local card store didnt have any

Reminds me of when Classic would short print cards at 80,000. It’s not like the Amazon Rain Forest was saving a tree with that reduction.

I always kicked myself for not buying up the 92-93 Fleer rack packs I saw at Woolworth’s (anyone old enough to remember that place?). On top of that, I was after the Larry Johnson inserts in 1/6 packs and not the Team Leaders lol.

I have no idea on print run, but even with those being more scarce than normal, I bet it was in the tens of thousands.

It's a guess, some more educational than others. Fleer certainly didn't release production numbers of the set nor would they of a SKU(Rack Packs). Obviously only a percentage of the total run in which that run goes into the multi-millions. It was the peak of the junk era. Fleer was released everywhere. McDonald's to boot. The error in using the PSA population is many Team Leaders were off-center or had edge chipping. Not many people are sending those in.

MJ Team Leader was a grail back then! I finally saw one at a show in the early 90's and spent a cool $200 high book value on it. It was like seeing a ghost. Fast forward to 2014-15 when I got back into Ebay + cards, I was always on the hunt for these packs because I never saw them back in 92 either. Found a grail of an item one day and had to scoop it. One of my best PC items...Haven't seen one showing an MJ before or after but I did find someone with about a dozen packs a few years ago and I grabbed them all. Still have them unopened.

Yep we had a Woolworth's in one of our malls. Remember finding 1992-93 NBA Hoops Series 2 there.

There's a Woolworths in every town in Australia, back on track 10000 I'd guess is way too low, for sure at least 50000, the 92 skybox magic never ends and the admiral comes prepared silver sparkle are way way more scarce and there was 7500 of each produced
