Default Strip Cards

What is everyone’s view on the collectibility of strip cards? Some are sort of cool looking, some look fairly awful, but they are all much more affordable. Curious if people like them, hate them or generally how they are viewed.

The strip cards are just ugly IMO. So many decent sets out there with great value that I would choose over any strip card. Even some sets like the T207 are just super ugly, especially the Walter Johnson. I don't care how much cheaper it is than a T206, the T207 was commissioned to an artist with no ability.

I would suggest a T202 card for anyone diving back into pre-war. People hate larger cards and these are very affordable. Try to find a cheaper Ty Cobb than his T202 cards.
