What are some non 1/1 cards that you’ve 1.) never seen surface or 2.) rarely see surface? Feel free to share!

Here’s my contribution:

2014 Topps Chrome Buster Posey Buyback Auto /5, this is the only one I’ve seen in around a decade.

Yes, but this is a buyback/aftermarket card. More can be made at almost any time.

I searched for this card (1997 Fleer Ultra Platinum Medallion Jose Cruz Jr RC) for 20 years before TWO became available within weeks of each other. I grabbed both because I’m a greedy prick.

I'm looking for the Barry Larkin red Crusade. It's out of 25, but there is only 1 graded. I know who owns it. I've never seen another. I hope that changes.

That’s definitely a tough one. I think the Larkin was in the 1998 Leaf boxes and then it was one of the Call To Arms cards which I think were unnumbered (they were serial numbered, donruss just forgot to put the card number on them). I would guess most of them are still in unopened boxes or probably set aside in a pile without any idea what they are. Good luck.

Here's a sneaky rare one out of 2015 Topps Update - Lindor's RC year. It looks like a common autograph, not numbered or anything, but Lindor was massively shortprinted. I thought at one point I saw something about it being limited to 5 or so copies but can't find anything now.

Believe me, I have tried.

In fact, I ordered 5 cases of 2006 bowman draft from BO once over a decade ago hunting for it.

I've probably been through about 30 cases of bowman draft for that year, LOL.

I've pulled a Longo red, gold, blue, xfractor, refractor and base.

I'm only missing the super and orange in terms of pull experience.

I hope the super really does surface one day, just seeing it is on my hobby bucket list.

This is a tangent, but I would like to see the Trea Turner Bowman Draft Superfractor Auto surface.

There was a photoshopped image of the Longo super floating around for a while.

Several have claimed the Longo has been pulled and is locked away in someone's safe, but no legitimate images have ever surfaced and no proof of it's existence has ever been brought forward.

The owner, if one exists, has never chose to share it with the rest of the world.
