I bought a couple of the MTG Lord of The Rings Collector Booster boxes back when the craze was going on. They are the retail ones that have 15 cards in them.
I've just had them stored away in storage boxes. I know the regular booster boxes are quite expensive but was wondering everyone's opinion on these small retail boxes. Put them back in storage or bust? Just not sure the long term value of these type boxes are going to be worth storing them.

Hard to say as there is a lot of ambiguity surrounding the rights situation with WotC and whether they'll be able to offer reprints or reprint-adjacent sets (aka LotR Masters or whatever) at any point in the future.
With Magic, I think it's a fool's errand to hold any modern sealed product expecting big returns, but this could be the exception. Are you a player, or would you just be ripping and flipping? |

If I were to rip and pull a big card, I would not be against selling but it would depend on the card. Something really good might go into the PC.

I am keeping my Collector Boosters sealed, buy the singles that you want, such a great set and can you imagine how much they would be if the One Ring was not pulled yet? LOL
