I hit his Stadium Club rookie auto in a break way back when and was pleasantly surprised to see he’s absolutely raking for the immovable force that is the Oakland A’s. Collegiate baseball legend who’s finally showing out in the big show. I know he’s a candidate for the retirement home in a few years but let’s enjoy this ride while it lasts fellas.

Hobby afterafterthought for sure at his age and on that team.
In the non hype driven world of fantasy and real life baseball statistical importance the production looks pretty relevant.
Last two years in AAA equaled 48 HR in about 520 AB. The power is 100% legit.
The BA and strikeout regression is surely eminent. The slugging may not be as flukey as most will assume.

Can’t remember if it was him who got cheered by the hometown fans after actually fielding a ball properly in right. He had botched 2 or 3 routine plays prior to that.

I have been happy to see his OPS in A's box scores. No one on my team EVER has an OPS like that, ever.

Also I enjoy this power burst because I pulled the following amusing card. I felt this one is definitely a baseball-cards-have-jumped-the-shark-now card, and it finally broke my basically pointless habit of buying a box of Topps Holiday every year.

Of course in 2021, I picked this card as the best Rookie Card Name card. And I was also quite pleased to pull my first ever Powder Blue swatch card: Return of the 70s in full Force! (But I do now seek a more baseball cardy example of this).

Now that Rooker has actually hit a bunch of Home Runs in Major League Baseball, I can finally feel like he has finally reached his goal of knocking the head clean off the unsuspecting Snowman:

Tenth bomb tonight and now qualifies with a healthy 1.182 OPS -leading MLB by a lot.
Brent Rooker has been the best performing hitter in the majors so far this season.

Kinda regret selling off the multiple orange refractors and blue refractor autos I had, but they would’ve been long holds. I still have several psa 10 1st BC autos and most of the unsigned 1st BC base and refractors, so at least there’s that. I can finally flip those $.80 base cards into $2 lol
