The Burbank Card show changed its name but it's going on at the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend. Anyone heading there?

If it's like in previous years, it's really fun and family friendly. Normally go for 4-5 hours and that doesn't cover it all.

Got my early entry ticket for Saturday.

More enjoyable than the National if you're into higher end and not smelling other people's body odor.

Did you end up going to the Nationals this year? Never been to one but figured this show is as close as you can get.

This show should be great. The company putting it on is trying out for running the Natty in future years. Tri-star has been mid.

Not this year, but last year.

Look, I like the National. Went to my first one in 1997. If you're a kid, or into the hype-beast culture, it's for you.

I've been to 2 of these Burbank/WCCS's and I'd call them a more refined experience. Higher end cards, less nerds trying to product YouTube and IG content.

Wish I didn't need to finish that novel. Sounds like a great place to take that silver Kobe and just take a pulse of the room, see if any Kobe dealers find true graded rookie error variations interesting.

Also, wouldn't this be the place for knowledgable basketball hype? I am sure names like Nesmith and even Nembhard are known and not confused there. (Or pick your phenomenal talent).

That's nice to hear. Every year I'm thinking about pulling the trigger and going to the National but Burbank shows have been nice enough to prevent me from doing so.

I hear that there are 400 tables of TCG (Pokemon) out of 1100.

That's 700 tables of mostly modern stuff. I'm personally getting into the 1/1 card art, which is well represented at this show.

Show was awesome. Way more space, tons of tables and freebies all around. Bo Jackson, Randy Johnson and Jake LaRavia were there today.

Hopefully it keeps getting bigger and they can get more halls down the line, it'll be awesome.
