Dude, LeBron I have the utmost respect for. At his age to be still physically dominant unless Nesmith is giving him the "high-lows" and the post-screen double team fakes with Nembhard.

Didn’t take long for Hermano’s LeBron obsession to kick in, along with a Nesmith mention by Nomad already. The basketball section is on its last legs.

Oh, but I was told that it wasn't fair that he was facing teams superior to his teams so he gets a bye for that.

I mean, a guy that physically dominant despite his age should be winning all the time, right?

It was a matter of simple deduction.

Basketball guys only collect Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron.

Clearly, Lebron was the odd man out.

Polar opposite of what how Nesmith's legs felt when he was into his 39th minute guarding Bron, having held him to 10 shots and 16 points, keeping him out of his rhythm.

"90 was lowest amount the team has allowed all season. When did you have a feeling like "oh we're having a good night on that end of the floor," was there any moment?"

"Actually I didn't, no. I was pretty locked in the whole game. I didn't realize that it was 88 until we came out of the game with like two minutes left."

Dude was literally just having fun out there guarding one the best.

Sorry, getting pumped for the postseason.

This thread is a great example of why message boards have largely been replaced by Reddit.

Here is an actual answer, not a weak attempt to be funny:

John Collins and Myles Turner.

Not awful players, but when your main PC guys are Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis then I guess Collins and Turner are the worst.

Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose have both suggested that alcohol likely played a part. Jody Genessy of Deseret News reported that “a very reliable source” told her that a Jazz staffer on the night of Game 5 said something along the lines of: “Flu my ass. The Bulls’ PR guy just said Jordan was in Vegas all night and he was hung over.”

Even in Michael Jordan’s biography, former NBC colour commentator Matt Guokas, who called Game 5 of the 1997 Finals, told Roland Lazenby:

“The other thing was, there were conspiracy theories of what was really wrong with Michael. We just took it at face value that he had the flu and just went ahead and played. But according to the stories and rumors, he was supposedly at Robert Redford’s chalet up in the mountains playing poker all night and partying too hard.”

No, you got the logic wrong. Actually executed a steelman here. Aaron Nesmith is among the best players whom no one collects.

The metaphor of Nesmith's leg strength after Bron duty being opposite relative to the strength of most assertions among those who to collect the underr 25 gen on this forum stands.

But the critiques are fair at this point and the pricing is accurate to actual milestones (IST has been established here as a Vegas sideshow). As Nesmith pointed out in his sit down, "if the Celtics won a ring I wasn't even gonna take it out of the box, because I didn't contribute enough. Stay hungry for a championship I helped win." And... "I always tell my teammates, make it to the playoffs first. Flowers will naturally rain if you do that."

I could nominate this guy as he was a journeyman pro in two sports but was a tv star and had a memorable role in Roots....https://www.ebay.ca/itm/364772888707...0ryTbgoEi1%2FL

the above compels me to post, seeing as this thread is a train wreck, the beginning of my novel:

reminds me of when I first got thrown out of Mansion for trying to get in a poker game with Nesmith, Math, Sheppard, and Hield, and then reasonably presented my case for two flags at what used to be Bobby's Room by presenting three rare Nesmith cards. And wound up talking with a Russian chef for hours on the Strip. Night after I watched Nesmith at the fake MSG keep it real in quelling the incipient "Giannis MVP" chant in my upper deck section.

Along the way that night I got the unseen MGM house DJ to adjust the hipster country music to the right volume just by holding my ear and moving my hand in an air gesture like playing a theremin, picked up a bouquet of red plastic flowers, rapped, and found exactly one small bottle of water from staff in a small room where they stage events. Oh and punked the Ariah house manager. All in all a classic town of timeless beauties.

That was a few days before I shared beef jerkey and plastic bag-aged cheddar with a former outlaw who had just lost function of his kidney (and got COVID as a result), talked with an accountant who would be fired from the Foreman grill if he asked out a stripper. And busted flat (blown alternator actually) just outside of Bakersfield, Christmas Eve. Giving away art to a semi-good-Samaratan, whose father had been a pro sketch artist, in an outskirts trailer park where rent had not been paid since before the pandemic.

Didn't accomplish anything is harsh. Injuries derailed his career. He was a 4 time all star 3 time All NBA and on the 96 USA team. He was very popular in the 90s with his own Nike shoe and commercials. Is he priced above what he
accomplished..absolutely...but he was great for his time before the injuries just piled up

Neither of these are true. MJ himself said in The Last Dance that it was food poisoning, from the pizza he ordered at the hotel the night before the game. He was up all night puking.
