Buster Posey Collectors Thread Buying/Selling/Trading/Sharing

Hi all - I’ve primarily purchased and traded on eBay and twitter but taking it the the message boards to expand my collecting network. Anyone out there a Buster collector? Would love to share, trade, buy, and maybe one day sell some of the cards in my PC. I’ve been after the ‘16 Opening Day SP on the right here if anyone has any leads. Look forward to connecting with like minded collectors!

I don't have an extensive Posey PC but I do have some of his cards in my PC.

He's one of my all-time favorite Giants players.

Unfortunately, you missed a 2016 Opening Day Posey SSP variation about 4-5 months back, during the middle of fall. Just to give you a reference point, it auctioned for about $200.

Here's one of the less common Posey cards, a 2013 Topps Chrome variation.

I can’t figure out if I’ve misplaced this card, or if I sent in a big lot to a consignor last year. I’m really hoping it’s just misplaced, because this is one of my favorite Posey cards.

I'm a lifelong Giants fan, so I collect Buster as well as many other Giants.

My collecting is primarily driven by whether or not I like the design of the card in question, so I don't have any super scarce stuff.

But I do have a lot of Buster and Will Clark cards....and I PC Willie McCovey....

What you should really be looking for is a Bowman orange. About 1/8th the print run, and 1/4th the price.

100% would recommend. I stumbled upon a bowman orange by chance last year, now one of my favorite posey cards in my collection.

I certainly wouldn’t mind a Topps black or a low-numbered refractor from either Bowman Chrome Draft or Sterling. But otherwise, I’m good with the Bowman orange being my main Posey rookie.
