Help with this kobe card

Hi there, Could you guys please guide me with this card of Kobe. I am not a sport cards collector,just found
it among some old cards that I have. I recently learned that sport cards can be graded. Besides,
I don’t live in the United States, so before sending it to get graded I would like to know if it
makes sense to pay for shipping insurance and grading service. You who know, what grade could this one have?

Nice find. Bottom left corner looks a little rough. Too bad the corners and edges weren't better. A PSA 4 sold for $1800 a few months back....

this is the upgraded version to the VOLTAGE insert. High Voltage are pretty collectible and this should fetch 2-4k ungraded.

looks to be about an 7-8 if graded based on the images provided, so won't bump the price but obviously nice to have it protected and graded if you plan on selling

That's a great card - if you can figure out the international shipping to PSA, package it very well (in a box) and send it off to PSA, regardless of what they grade it, use the Express service $(150 per card).

No way it's a 7 with that bottom left corner but I'd grade either way

Just keep it funky and real. If it's not minty, no need to encase in plastic. Go halfway and sell it as a 6.5.

Normally, that's what I would do. List it around 3K BIN/BO (BGS 7 - 8 is about 2-3k). But since OP is international, he is not covered by Authenticity Guarantee. Selling a card like this raw is very likely to attract grade chaser and potential returns/partial refund scammers. It may be better off grading it before selling.

Where do you live? If it's close to japan you could send it there to PSA for grading.

Last year in June they opened a grading facility in Tokyo. Otherwise you can ask your local trusted card store / dealer for a group submission to PSA in US, sometimes it's cheaper and faster than sending it by yourself.

It might very well be my favorite insert-parallel ever. I’ve never graded anything before so I’m not about to give advice on that front, I don’t really follow sales differences between grades.

I won the Penny in a lot a couple years ago, I don’t think it was even listed in the title. More people caught on than I anticipated so I didn’t get some insane deal, but I didn’t mind. Surprisingly good shape too.
