Default Set completed - 2011 Topps Heritage Tint

261 cards and nearly 13 years later, it's done. Many of these were obtained with help from members of this forum and others! There are too many to list, so if you're reading this, know that I am thankful and couldn't have done it without your help.

This set was tougher than it should've been due to the fact that some of the cards are very similar to the base versions. Hobby odds (Green Tint) are 1:108, which adds up for 87 cards. Retail odds are 1:6, though I'm not so sure I believe those odds. I imagine a lot of the Blue Tints are mixed in with base sets, as many people mistake the blue backgrounds as the sky, like this Bronson Arroyo.

There are some bigger names in this set, including a 10-card Babe Ruth subset that made this challenging. There are also some obscure players that team collectors have been on the hunt for.

The Red and Blue Tint Chicago White Sox team cards were a real pain to find. The base version of the card features a red background, making the Red Tint (below) nearly impossible to distinguish, except for the code on the back (9911109).

The red background also makes the Blue Tint interesting, because it has a purple background.

The last card I needed was the Blue Tint of #188 Freddy Sanchez, and it arrived a few hours ago.

I've scanned every tint here, if you want to take a peek: https://gallery.us175.com/2011%20Top...t/index.html#0

Cool to flip through the images, thanks for posting and congrats!

Love how this set got the Miguel Tejada Giants and Vlad Sr Rangers year.

And that Brian Wilson image ...

Congrats, such a hard set to complete. I finished mine last year with the 143 Babe Ruth Green Tint that was listed as a regular card on Ebay.

143 green was the most expensive card for me. They’re not easy to find. Congratulations on finishing! I have to wonder how many complete sets there are out there.

This is a super hard set. congrats. I have bought many many 2011s over the years and there are always a few tints here and there that people easily miss. I hope i sold you a few, and i know i helped rick (txmrsprorts) over the years too!
