Default Question about Panini losing NBA license

Hi, I'm quite new to sports cards (have been a TCG collector mostly), but I did recently find out the Panini is losing their NBA license soon..

Does that mean they will completely stop printing NBA cards and Fanatics will make their own sets and cards? I'm a big fan of a few cards like Noir Spotlight and Blank slate, but I'm wondering if it's just a matter of time before we don't see them come out anymore.

The short answer, as of now, yes. Panini will stop and Fanatics will take over with their/Topps brands.

Will the cards actually be called Fanatics, i.e. "Fanatics Prizm"?

Enough to make up for a decade of not printing them. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for it.

Fanatics purchased Topps so all of the cards they put out will probably be under the Topps umbrella.
