Upper Deck EVO Evolution Digital Marketplace 2015-16 Fleer Showcase Preview

I see there's a thread for this in the non-sports category, but I thought we should have one in here as it looks like these will be hockey related.

I also know there is a lot of hate for this, so please concentrate that hate in this thread as well.

The first non-logo release is 2015-16 Fleer Showcase Preview. Weird choice but okay.

Here's the copy:

Thoughts on this? Looks like McDavid is coming soon, I imagine it will sell out pretty quick.

I wonder if there will be any extra utility or anything to the limited cards, or any complete set or variant achievements.

My thoughts are that 2015-16 Fleer Showcase is an interesting first choice for release?

I'm definitely interested to see where this goes but doubtful I'll spend any money on it. Just not for me.

Upper Deck will soon release 2022-23 Hockey Heroes, which will be the first NHL and NHLPA-licensed weekly product available on Evolution. So I went to the bottom of the EVO home page and they have a "sweepstakes" button you can click to enter your account for a chance to win a card.

This morning I got an email saying I won! Just a base, but I've never won a sweepstakes card before. Might be a good time to try if there aren't many entrants yet.

Well this release has been a total disaster. All the images are wrong and everyone who hit a /650 base card has images of the 1/1 red goal light card. The images, numbering, and player on the card image itself is wrong for most of the cards.

People are thinking they're hitting 1/1's when they are hitting the base cards.
