Default Draft Lottery Tonight

I am pulling for Anaheim to get Bedard. Not a Ducks’ fan, but would be good for hockey.

I’ll puke if he goes to Chicago or Montreal. Columbus or Arizona would be a disaster for the league.

I am pulling for either Arizona or Columbus, especially Arizona, for everyone to lose their collective minds over it all. That said, I picked the Sharks before the season so I'm sticking with it.

Definitely tuning in for this tonight! I'd be cool with it if he goes to Anaheim. Be fun to see him paired up with Zegras. And I'd be fine if it's Chicago or Montreal or another big market team. Agree on not wanting Columbus or Arizona though I think he'll still succeed and find hobby love wherever.

It would be a damn tragedy if Arizona gets Bedard.

Bedard plays in front of more fans in that cow barn in Regina than he will in Arizona.

NHL needs to move Arizona. It's embarrassing. Kansas City? Quebec City? Hamilton? Houston?

Anaheim or Columbus grabs Bedard at 1.

Things get crazy, Detroit gets the 2nd pick and takes Fantilli...

Drafts are always more fun when someone in the top 2-3 fall out, anything else is a bore...

Would prefer Ducks, Jackets or Sharks get Bedard personally.

As a Columbus native and CBJ fan, the fans deserve this to go their way… but it won’t. Here’s hoping, but honestly we just need a top 3

I hope CBJ gets a top 3 pick, Bedard would be great, but who ever it is will leave once their first contract is up anyway, that is the only guarantee.

This! Think of that Cup RPA! Sharks would be cool too. Ducks would be really cool with their alternate logo.

Anyone but Arizona.

I've said for months and months that I think Anaheim will get him. Sticking with that prediction.

anyone but Chicago. Those bandwagoners dont deserve another lottery fluke that changes their entire franchise again. and that's not even considering the sex assault cover up

Blackhawks picking #2, that's my guess (and hope).

I'm pulling for Columbus the most, because they have wingers to help him succeed right from the outset and no top tier centers to challenge him from being "the guy" right away, yet at the same time he won't be under a mountain of pressure. But I supposed a tandem of Zegras and Bedard in Anaheim could turn into Crosby/Malkin 2.0, so I can't help but root for that too. I could live with Montreal, but I'd worry about the intense spotlight. I think Chicago in particular would not be ideal, as the spotlight would be intense and immediate there too, and I'm not sure they have the pieces in place. Of course they can certainly spend to get them, and I'm thinking if Bedard lands there then suddenly the likes of Tarasenko and/or Bertuzzi might be inclined to sign and Kane could even return, ala Keith Tkachuk going back to the Blues after a brief stop in Atlanta.

Nice guy, appreciate the positive vibes.

We need the first pick.

Then need to appoint a coach and begin signing a blue line.

Baby steps.

With 12 million people in Ohio, Bedard going to the Jackets would be very far from a disaster. Actually think it would be great for the league.

Too bad he's going to the canucks though.

Nowhere he goes will be a "disaster". If he truly is generational, then he will succeed anywhere and that team will get many more primetime games for us all to watch. I'd actually be fine with him in AZ, over some of the other spots.

As a wings fan, we deserve the move up. We have fallen in every draft order the last like 7 years. It sucks

League needs Bedard on the east coast, east coast teams and players just easiest to market

Why do I feel Washington is going to get him and will help Ovi get 895 faster.

Putting Bedard on an East Coast is pretty meaningless considering almost zero NHL players are marketed with any sort of meaningful influence outside of regional impacts.

For the NHL to gain something from Bedard, they need him to be a success wherever he plays.

Regardless, the NHL is experiencing declines in American viewership, and the league is suffering...Bedard can't fix that.

Ducks don’t need him, they are loaded with talent in their system. They’ll be amazing in 2 years regardless

Arizona would be a disaster for the hobby

Probably ends up being an original 6 team but…..

If the fix really is in though he’s gonna end up in Vancouver. Local kid (worked for the nba) and 3% chance they get they pick haha just wait for it!
