I know the 1998 Flair Legacy No Name on Backs, and specifically of Peyton Manning and Randy Moss (RC years) exist maybe in the thousands and those have serial numbering to 100. Now obviously those have the fake and/or bankruptcy release issue surrounding them as well but people still get ripped off on those and pay way too much for them far too often.
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any other examples where the number of cards that exist is more than are supposed to based upon serial numbering, pack odds, print runs, etc... |

Mosaic Genesis is the only one I can think of on top of my head. People get fooled into thinking that they are super rare, which they aren't.

pop count on some downtowns is insane...
I know some of those are multiple grading attempts, but 2020 Optic DT's would lead you to believe there are 500 or more of each card (after you assume so many yet to be pulled, so many that didn't get sent...etc.) |

Color Blast are probably another one along with Galactics. Anything that Panini originally makes rare and becomes popular the print run skyrockets with each year afterwards.

Can't blame them, they are in the business to make money after all. Additionally, supply seems to balance out demand.

the 2018 prizm white sparkle was supposed to be limited to 5 i believe? i collect rasheem green, and that was his rookie year, i had (what i thought) was all 5 for many years, then another popped up last year so now i have 6. so i'm not sure if some players had more or not now.

Galatics are rare, but obviously less so. It’s the unnumbered “case hits” that are in every hobby and retail format that aren’t rare. |

2020 Obsidian color blasts.
Based on pack odds, it’s easier to pull an obsidian color blast than any specific base card. Every serial numbered card or announced print run set has more made and released than stated. One of the most egregious companies with this is Pacific
