Default Post Your Favorite Comic Covers of 2025

I’ve been starting a thread like this for each of the last few years with little interest.

That said… I still love comics and 2025 (halfway through!) has dropped some amazing covers.

Show off your favorites below.

First up for me is this Gwenpool (underrated character) by Jeehyung Lee

i think i am most angry with all the reprints of classic covers flooding the market.

Spears does his thing, fans agog. Appreciate the styles fer sure. However, i really miss romita, ploog, starlin, boris, jock, etc. But, manga style, most new artists do nada for me.

And, Some people like the guy for his baby covers, but he was way better when he tried.

The deluge of massive boobed manga/almost rubbery looking art & covers is a scourge IMHO, just looks tacky as hell.

It’s all good! Would love to see you post some of your favorite cover from 2025 so far! I previously shared these in the nonsports card section b/c they were trading card themed but think I will pick up most if not all of these that come out…

More painted goodness.
Here's the Alex Ross original Superman #1 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive facsimile edition.

I've been a big fan of Ross' work for a long time and have several long boxes featuring his covers, many of which I bought only because he drew the cover. This comic cost $50 which I'd normally never, ever spend on a new comic no matter who drew it, but it came with a promo card I really wanted so I ponied up for it. It is gorgeous in hand, and a neat feature of it is that it is in the larger size that Golden Age comics actually were (which is not quite modern magazine size, but notably taller and wider than modern comic books).

Jusko art for FF 6 preorder is up and it is a beaut! He is also listed as doing a cover for FF7. I’m guessing it will be a 4 cover set in total, but that’s just a guess.
