Just got back my 2023 Topps Chrome Victor Wembanyama blue refractor/75 non auto psa 10 (pop 1). Any idea of value? Is it something worth holding onto with all the new products coming out?

Not likely holding onto value. The only reason to buying an unlicensed product is to pull his auto card, anything else, I would rather get it from a licensed product.

Sell Wemby as soon as you grade it.

I just can’t get behind unlicensed products. I wouldn’t pay $1.

Sell and collect the premium on this pop 1. If you want a Wemby, just get a numbered Prizm or something licensed. Autos are a different story.

Sell last week.
Fanatics' 2024 mission statement is to print unlicensed Wadlows til the Epsons develop clogged nozzles.

It’s Topps Chrome and the undying love of this product will eventually catapult your Wemby to double the price, at least!

Imagine Rubin Escobar thinking he's servin' the block when he hasn't even performed a manual Windex flush on the magenta tanks.
![]() Just imagine.

Topps Chrome hobby has a usually sticker auto coming out in every box. It's the first TC since the early 2000s. Since autos are really rare and they covered up his lack of a Spurs logo well, I think it is a card for the ages. Thee Wemby. Auto or not, the image is iconic and I would definitely hold and not sell, we are in the tail of the s curve.
A pop 1 of /75 is not likely to last, but even a pop 13 or 14 of something of a scrub like Nesmith is where it becomes really difficult to find. How are the cuts on the blues? There are some Nesmiths, such as the 21-22 75th Anniversary Prizm cracked ice red /75, where a centered copy doesn't seem to exist. I personally enjoy collecting Topps Chrome, it was the first Double A in like 15 months and I'm even ok with the laughably bad photoshop, like old Topps give zero f. I am working on a grid of a red /5 flanked by two black /10s, with a bunch of gold and gold breaker /50s (two jersey numbered), a frozen fractor, a Topps logo, and a pink basketball surrounding. I am definitely the only one doing this with Nesmith, but I bet there are some rarity-focused TC Wmby rainbow collectors out there. Last edited by Nomad; 10-15-2024 at 04:17 AM. |

I think my mistake was getting back into the hobby with the miracle find of a silver Kobe TMZ. Everything since has been something of a manual Windex flush.
