Just got back, I thought it was great, although I think I liked Infinity War a little better.

I'm glad they set it up so Captain Marvel wasn't around for the whole movie, it would have made everyone else a secondary character. I thought they set it up really well, and the 3 hours flew for me.

Also, Ironman deserved the 'kill', although that wasn't what I was expecting!

That battle scene at the end with everyone showing up gave me the chills a bit. After leaving the movie, I'm already starting to like it more after thinking about it. I mentioned it in the other thread, but the Captain scene at the end might have been one of my favorite scenes from the franchise

The comedy was on point as usual, I definitely wasn't ready for beer-gut Thor. I hope they do an action figure like that!

I especially got a kick out of the references to Back to the Future since it came up in the other thread here.

Loved it, but the best part was seeing Steve Rogers wield Mjolnir. Amazing. Just happy that Steve didn't die and was finally given the happy ending he so deserves.

The final battle with everyone was great. Seeing all the heroes step through the portals gave me chills. Such a well done movie. I still hold The Dark Knight in higher regard but damn this has some moments that will stick with me for a long time.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Loved the film! What do you guys think that clang, clang, clang, clang sound was supposed to represent at the end of the credits?

It sounded like when Tony was making the first Iron Man suit. To me it means that Tony is gone but will always be apart of this franchise. I love Captain America but the MCU does indeed belong to Downey. The man was born to play Stark and Stark was the perfect misfit, cool, flawed, and badass character to kick this off. The gamble this whole thing was 11 years ago was a big one.

But who knows for sure, that’s just my interpretation. I’m glad they didn’t have a scene after the credits. Let’s just remember Tony’s sacrifice and Steve’s storybook ending.

Also, it was really cool to see that they brought back the actor that played the little kid that helped Tony in Iron Man 3. I didn’t recognize him but read who it was when I got home. Great touch. Damn, this was just a really well done end to this whole thing. Sorry to post again but I just woke up and was thinking about it again.

This article was written a week ago and pretty much nailed it. The speculation on Doctor Strange is a pretty wild theory. Suggesting he was in a time loop the whole time. It makes sense.

Ok question and opinions wanted from everyone

I know in the comics Falcon does take up the Captain America persona. My question is this.
Falcon, much like Tony Stark, is just a dude in a suit. He doesn’t have super strength or anything like Steve Rodgers did. Bucky on the other hand, is essentially a clone of Rodgers, he was injected with the same super serum. So why Falcon over Bucky? If Falcon took a single punch from Thanos the way Cap did, wouldn’t he be just absolutely destroyed? I’m just wondering why they decided to go with him as the new Cap. He obviously has the same morals as Steve, which is great, but I feel like in a fight he stands no chance against a big bad.

She ran off hence why Quill was looking for her on the map before Thor walked in. Assume she is probably pretty confused knowing everything she does now.

Hearing about some of the scenes is one thing, seeing them is a whole different one.

I feel ya. I'll be taking my son to see it soon. We'll probably go next weekend.

I am curious about one thing... When Tony sees Peter what is his reaction? Does he give him a big bear hug?

Well if you’re here in the spoiler thread, here goes:

Tony died, and his death was him next to Spider-Man losing him. It was heart wrenching to watch and amazing at the same time.

He does give him a giant hug. Tony wasn’t my guy so his death was sad but. It too emotional for me. Steve’s happy ending though go me to tear up. Happy he finally got that dance. That was great to see.

Also, the movie gave no crap about about Black Widow biting the dust. That was odd. She is an OG.

Regarding Black Widow I think it made sense for the film and a culmination of 10 years of movies. They split up into teams to acquire the Infinity Stones and it happened to be her and Hawkeye on Vormir for the Soul Stone. So it was going to be one or the other and she took herself. An assassin know for killing and going out for a friend that has a wife and family. That’s just my opinion. Anyone else have thoughts on it?

Nebula seemed aware that a sacrifice had to be made to acquire the soul stone. Did Nebula tell them in advance?

Probably not. If she did know, who would have volunteered for that route?

I wish Ruffalo would get his own incredible hulk movie. Ed Norton's hulk movie was great. also don't understand why they waited this long to make a black widow origin movie. they kill her off and then give her her own movie.
