Default Would You Rather...

It's been almost three weeks since I've started a thread.

Would you rather: (stolen from Twitter)

A) Be given $1 million dollars straight up.

B) Have 10 carries in a live, regular season NFL game behind YOUR team's current offensive line to gain 5 yards for $10 millions.

Yes, the yardage is cumulative. So if you take 5-yard loss on the first carry, you have to make up 10 yards. Once you reach the 5-yard total mark, you are awarded the $10 million and you do not have to complete any remaining carries.

The Kansas City Chiefs.

Unless you're a Chiefs fan—then it's the New England Patriots.

How long do I have to train for this?

Is it something I would have to do tomorrow, or would I be able to take 6 months to get in the best shape possible and hire a RBs coach to make sure I have the footwork, etc?

Let's say you have until Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.

I played football in high school, I'm still athletic so the 10 NFL carries to gain 5 yards would be a cake walk.

We need Mr. Beast to get in here and give everyone who voted like you a real opportunity.

Honestly, I'm a big dude. I'm decently athletic.

But the risk that a guy like Chris Jones just piledrives me and seriously injures me and I fumble the ball away tells me to not be greedy and just take the easy million.

I’m 5’10” about 180, lift weight 4 times a week. I’m also 49 and I’m not fast anymore.

Every person here should take the 1 mil. None of us is getting 5 yards behind any o line.

36 years old, 6'0, 225lbs of pretty decent muscle—I'd be tempted.

Especially if I could offer $500,000 to the entire defense for one play.

Yeah… In my minds eye, I could do it.

Then I think about trying to gain 5 yards against the size and speed of NFL players.

Not a chance.

5 yards against the Blowout all stars? No problem.

I’m 100% sure I could not complete a pass in the NFL, even if I had 20 attempts.

Glen and Boo anchoring the middle of the line could be pretty stiff competition.

Ok, I firmly believe (perhaps mistakenly) that completing a single bubble screen pass would be easier than gaining 5 yard rushing.

Sure, short screen, yeah. But throwing beyond the line of scrimmage?

Not sure.

I have a cornerback build anyway.

It would be my only hope. That or a jump ball to prime era Megatron.

You’d have to give me the ball on something like a 3rd and 20 draw play where the defense has a 3 man front and is happy to give up 5 yards, forcing a punt.

If you gave me the ball on 4th and goal from the 1, you may as well ask me to run through a brick wall.

Can I QB sneak it 10 times for 5 yards or does the ball have to be handed off in this scenario? It just says 10 carries. Also, having no team affiliation I assume I'd be able to choose the team.

Heck yeah I'd take the $10M plus 10 carries to be forever immortalized on Pro Football Reference. Free autographs for all!

I played in HS and I've torn my Achilles playing in rec leagues as an adult. What's a few more injuries vs Tony Romo mocking my 6-second 40 yard dash time recorded forever and used as my ringtone? I want to link everyone to my YouTube video of attempts with Cris Collinsworth saying "now here's a guy who shouldn't be anywhere near the field."

10 QB sneaks should get me 5 yards.

I took the 10 carries. I'll have Hairy and Frenzy blocking for me. It would go like this...

10 carriers, easy peasy lemon squeezie. Just call a misdirection and hide behind Trent Brown and pray to Hey Zeus the end didn’t stay home.

This is correct

This thread is showing me who all the liars are. It's illuminating
