Baseball Fan Cheapskates! Who's the Cheapest?

I have some ideas in my head about who the cheapest MLB fans/collectors tend to be - what has been your experience?

For an example - If you had a card listed on eBay, already lowest priced on site and sold fairly consistently at the same price...which set of fans would you still expect to receive offers from. (Tigers fan)

Or it could be...you have a card listed at $1.49 with no offers and you get the message asking if you'll take .15 less. (This was an Astros fan)

Has to be Idaho. Their MLB fans are very cheap. I went there a couple of times and loved it, but couldn't find the stadium anywhere.

I’m not even a fan of the Pirates anymore. I’ll root for the players and the city but Bob Nutting can go suck a BNut if I’ll ever give him my money again.

There's only nine spots. They aren't buying current players usually - Clemente, Stargell, etc.

For as wealthy as the team and region is, it does seem like Red Sox stars are mostly overlooked in favor of other teams. I get told all the time that it’s not a good team for broad hobby interest.

Upshot??? Cheaper to collect all my son and my favorite players, who are probably out performing the more hyped alternatives on other clubs

Being from Michigan I'll be biased and say Tigers. They haven't really had much to cheer about but I still see people walking around in 2012 hats and shirts. It's 9 years later, time to buy a new shirt.

Is it really fair to say the fans are the cheapest? Just because they are a small market team fan does not mean they are cheap.

I am a Twins fan, and I would consider myself lucky because the market has decided that Twins cards are cheap. That does not mean I would not pay more for the cards I want, it just means I don’t have to.
