Sports Card Album down?

Is everyone else's down too? Any thread that I had posted pictures from are all blank now, and the site won't load for me

I really liked this app when i first started using it, but there are just too many issues. I swear, it always seems like there's something going on with it. It looks like I am going to have to move to a more reliable photo storage site. Kind of sucks going form photo bucket, to Sports Card Album, and now to another one.

Yup. I was using it on my desktop, but it deleted all my Stafford pictures twice. I emailed the guy that runs it. Sounded like it was going to look into it for me, then never got back to me. I too am gonna have to look for a more reliable one to upload ALL my scans again

I've never used the app, only on my computer, and i've never had any issues with it.

Really hope it's just a short term thing here, I couldn't even begin to think about how I'd go about re-uploading everything I have in there, would take me MONTHS to take pictures, upload, and sort it all again.

Down for me as well. Maybe they are doing some maintenance?

I have almost 6,000 cards on that site. I hope thats the case.

I use the app, but got an iPhone X....... now it says the app is no longer available. WTF

I tried to use it a couple of times yesterday but I was able to use it about 8 times today with no problem.

This is not good. I put almost a years worth of work into rescanning my collection for that site.

I have most of them saved on my computer but the thought of regroupng them into yet another site is a task I am not up for again.

I really hope this is temporary.

I just couldn't imagine having to do it again, when I moved from photobucket to here I didn't even upload everything, left out almost anything that wasn't an Auto unless it was big. If I have to do it again I can't imagine doing everything, lot just wouldn't get uploaded I think.

Hey everyone, thanks to cking for letting me know about this last night...was up until 1am with the hosting company trying to figure it out and they said thye resolved it. Woke up to the thing still being down this morning. Apparently it came back up and then went down again. Have developers working with the hosting company right now to figure this out. Might be a DNS thing.

As an update, the website has had several bugs that have been a struggle to fix. We have a couple major new features we wanted to add for the last 8-10 months but realized the existing structure of the website was not going to allow the new features to work so we have had to re-write the entire website from scratch. All our efforts for the past 8 months have gone towards doing this, so although there are some issues still we are hoping to launch SCA 2.0 soon which will eliminate these bugs. First thing we need to do is get the dang thing back up and running. Sincere apologies for the site going down...been insanely busy traveling for my real job lately so I haven't been logging on as much as I used to. Thanks to BO members for always keeping me in the loop.

We are working on a total update to the app. Not sure why it went down but we are fixing that...within a few months we will have a new app for android/apple and hopefully a new mobile site as well.

Sorry, Jason. I sent that over to the dev team and asked them to return everything and I thought you were taken care of. Main dev's wife had their first baby and took a couple months off so maybe it just got lost in the fold. PM me your SCA username and I will get it taken care of. Cannot wait to move to SCA 2.0 so we can get past this stupid evil bug.

Edit: Nevermind Jason, I found our old conversation. Having dev look at it right now. Website is back up and running.

Thanks, Rabs. Having more kids has kinda crushed my "disposable-sports-card-income" lol. But probably more than anything I think the whole "Baylor Football" thing from the last couple years really hurt me, so as a college football collector it made me sick to even think about cards for a while, since Baylor football cards are primarily what I collected. I've still been lurking the forums pretty often, but have had zero inclination to buy cards or trade for a while. Coming back around, and I think launching SCA 2.0 is going to get me back on the hype train for the upcoming season
