I'm unimpressed after Prizm 2024 NFL endless print runs... no end to retail, hobby boxes seeming fairly limitless also...

So we'd have to expect same for Select and Optic 2024.

Designs are cool, as always. Slightly teetering on looking too similar year after year. Plus, less and less of the photo background is making it onto the cards.

I agree that it looks way too much like every other year. I understand creating some brand recognition, but you can also take some chances and be different while still keeping brands what they are.

FOTL had 1 FOTL-Exclusive Neon Orange Pulsar #'d/35 & 1 FOTL-Exclusive Neon Orange Pulsar Prizm #'d/7 OR Tiger Prizm. 2023 FOTL sold out at $1370.

Regular Hobby is up for preorder rn at $799 at D&A.

good timing i suppose.

The rookie class is too strong even if this is highly printed.

with prizm fotl at $2100+ per box and hobby at $1160+ per box, this should be a winner at this price.
I'm sure the big distributors put a 12 box case close to $18,000- $20,000

How can anyone realistically build a rainbow? It's damn near impossible.

$800-$1,200 a box for this stuff out of the gate is nuts.

I still remember scooping up boxes of 2014 Select for $125 bucks.

Puled a #'d /5 Mike Evans Mojo Patch Auto out of one. Still have it too!

Hobby select is usually good with extra draft pick hits but this year not sure people excited for ward dart but could be wrong.

When was the last time a fifth round draft pick rookie quarterback for the Browns carried anything other than a tub full of dirty jocks to the equipment managers laundry room? Kids got a year of hazing before he carries anything of significant value.

The bums can price it at whatever they want. They will sell exactly zero of these for $18,000-$20,000 a case unless the market significantly increases at some point.

It's probably a slight winner. Prizm is not even close to a comparison. Your comparison is Optic. Look at the demand and sales for Optic FOTL. They essentially sell for the same. I thought for sure with how bad Optic FOTL sales have been this would hit at least $906. Hobby will be selling for $675ish basically as soon as or right after release date.

2023 Select FOTL if you didn't sell or break immediately you lost on it or even worse probably got beat up as bad as any FOTL for football all year.

Checklist is out and this also looks quite sticker dump-ish. RPAs of random late round defensive guys and autos of late round draft picks in recent years.

Watched a couple of FOTL boxes opened on YT and this stuff is brutal even with the added “bonus” cards. Very little color per box and maybe I’m in the minority….but the Premier level with the big swoosh (or S) through the center is pretty ugly. Not a fan at all of this years design.

Went to YT to check out some openings and yes, that stuck out to me right away. Looks more like a usual ugly Select insert set opposed to base.

Select has a specific look and feel and if they veer too far away from that...it just doesn't look right. Much like 2022 Suite Level (IMO)
