Why combine them?

If they can’t do a Captain Marvel stand-alone set I’d rather see them combine with anything else than the biggest movie of all time, it deserves its own set.

Just turn Captain Marvel into an ePack exclusive and sell out in a week like they did with AC

Looks like Upper Deck had started printing Captain Marvel cards and gave up so it jammed them with Endgame. I could have sworn I saw a category for 2019 Upper Deck Captain Marvel Trading cards on Comc at one point, but it is almost impossible to replicate autofills on comcs. Not sure why Upper Deck is doing this.

My guess is they didn’t get Bree Larson sig so UD listened to user complaints from previous sets and did not release standalone set. However, completists were griping about no CM trading card set so this combined release throws them a bone.

Ironically, a release made to please everyone will likely lead to gripes on both sides.

I think it’s kind of cool. No dumber than Dr Strange or Ant Man at least.

MAP should be around $105 a box

Nothing more than January for a release.

I'd love at least a HINT of signers, at least with Spider-Man Far From Home we were told Holland signed. Throw us a bone before we have to get these preorders placed.

You know the drill by now. If they don't provide checklists and we still pre-order every box produced, they'll never provide checklists.

A lot of this is our fault, which is why I'm taking my own advice and going more for singles these days.

Upper Deck has the added advantage of having the ePack outlet. So, even if we don't preorder it all, they sell it at full retail themselves after adding a few achievements to spur bulk buying.

Seems like the game it rigged some days.

Plus if you wait for ePack, the gambling on checklist is taken out of the equation. If the checklist turns out to be a dog, you aren’t tying up any of your money in a preorder and can just avoid a set entirely without losing cash.

My guess is this set will have similar signers to MCU10 though.

This def feels like a product that will have to be broke by the case.

Upper Deck Marvel Avengers Endgame & Captain Marvel Trading Cards Box Hits:
(1) Card from the following:
Shadow Box, Shadow Box SP or Shadow Box Autograph
Legends Never Die Autograph
Avengers Endgame Sketch Card
One Shot Metal Card
Exquisite Collection Diamond Relic
1-of-1 Legends Never Die or Captain Marvel Printing Plate

*shadow box autographs could be really cool looking.

I read it as base/inserts from older sets simply stamped "1/1" by Upper Deck. I would be shocked if it was anything but older base cards from older sets with a serial number on it...

Anyone else find it odd Upper Deck has not released even one image of the either Spiderman Far From Home (due Nov 2019) or Endgame/Cap Marvel (due Jan 2020)? Even my UD guy wont tell me whats causing the delay!

Finally got a "little" Endgame update. Looks like a January 29th release is what they are shooting for. Also was told this will have more signers than Infinity War and all autos should be live and will also include several new signers including TWO big ones.

I still think Infinity War is one of the greatest sets put out in a long time. The base set was a cool design with SP base cards to help resale value. The autograph list was top notch with every signer being a character that had meaningful screen time. The inserts were well done. The price wasn't too outrageous either. Looking forward to what they have prepared for Endgame. I'm think they have Brie Larson and Chadwick Boseman as the two big new signers.

I agree, loved the Infinity War product.

If those are the 2 new big names, I will be so happy. I would take just one of those 2.

I just put down a deposit for a case of this stuff.

I didn't buy a case of the Spider-Man Far From Home, but might go to my LCS and get a box or some packs. Didn't want to drop a bunch of money for just a few real hits.

I can tell you I was told what one of the dual autos is and it contains a new signer and it will be a $1000+ card immediately. Probably more.
