Hello, I was looking in the forum in old post but I could not find a lot on this topic. Several people mention this but I would like to expand if possible. Since I am your average collector and not your high end collector I am not too familiar why. My question is, why National Treasures is generally more popular (Expensive RPA to 99) than Flawless? Looking at the 2018-19 cards, Flawless has the only Game Worn Patches with shorter prints vs NT. Also another difference is vertical cards vs horizontal cards, I noticed vertical are obviously more popular, but this is just personal preference.
I am now collecting Trae Young cards, and noticed this after looking on ebay that his NT highest sale was a best offer accepted under $50k vs his highest Flawless best offer accepted under $20k. Why are the prices so unbalanced and different? If this was already discussed sorry. If you are going to just criticize that I am asking this again save your time and do not post anything then and go to another post. Thanks

National Treasures came first. It also continued the legacy of the /99 vertical RPA from Exquisite. That’s consider “the” RPA, so it commands a premium over lower print run cards, and even cards with actual game worn jersey pieces like Flawless.

Until recently I don't think Flawless had the RC logo/stamp on their cards where as NT did. Starting this year, with the RC logo/stamp being put on Flawless I think prices will be similar to NT, especially for the low print run stuff.
Can you imagine what a game used patch and on card auto of Zion gold /10 in Flawless will go for this year? |

NT is always "king" when it comes to the RPA since Panini took over basketball, it took the torch from Exquisite. Flawless has never been about the RPA, instead the true rookie in it has always been the base diamond /20(think one year it was /25). In regards to vertical or horizontal or just depends on the product, set and patch size.

Correct. It's not to knock the Flawless cards but they aren't as big a chase as the NT RPA. NT has a much larger checklist with the RPA's too, while Flawless only has a handful of rookies.
