Default Most 19-20 Prizm Rainbows Are 41 Cards, Markkanen Now Only Has 40

Platinum Breaks decided to cut the Nebula 1/1 into pieces so there is one less card to chase for the rainbow.

Reason was because he got mad that he was called out for putting the card in a one touch incorrectly. He proceeds to say look that doesn't damage the card that much, THIS damages the card as he slices it into pieces. Somehow he was trying to make a point that they really care about cards over at Platinum Breaks while destroying a 1/1?

I like watching their breaks with the volume muted. Only way I can make it through

From what I gather he bought the card from the owner and then commenced to rip it. If he did that without consent, then he's a pretty dim bulb (not like he already wasn't).

Pretty telling when 90 percent of his chat participants are mods.

I think his base is big enough to take a temporary hit, what would really change the bottom line is if Panini "suspended" him from products for a period of time, say 6 months or so.

Nothing probably can happen because the owner of the card gave approval but its still just a stupid situation.

Idk if there's a Markkanen super collector who planned on chasing his entire 3rd year prizm rainbow but if there is.. Part of him/her just died..

What a ball bag honestly

It wouldn't because there's too much money gained from their partnership, but if for some 1% reason it did happen I'd assume it'd be like a suspended license for any professional. I will hope he'll at least get a nasty call from Panini about it, if it were not a Prizm 1/1 it would be nothing but he literally destroyed a rainbow.

i think every breaker gives you mod status once you buy into a break. pretty standard.

Oh cool, a breaker doing something stupid and pointless to get people talking about his site.

Makes sense. The owner's card -- the owner's prerogative.

Some people like to cut up new lamborghinis and turn them into rally vehicles. Weird? Yes. But not my business.

Doubt this is going to change anyone's mind about either participating or avoiding their breaks in the future.

Unbelievable, how could someone in the industry do that to any 1/1. Agree they should be banned by Panini. I guarantee there was someone that wanted that card. Total lack of respect to anyone in the hobby.

Anyone calling for them to be “banned” by Panini has no idea how the card business works.
(It might be a hobby for us, but it’s a business for the manufacturers, the distributors and the breakers.)

Agreed. Makes no sense.

It would've been funnier to draw a dick on the front with sharpie.

Instead, this is even trashier, not funny, AND disrespectful to the hobby in which they make their living. Owner or not, I don't get the point.

I feel torn.. like the card.

He owned the card so he can do what he likes to it.

but as a business surely you have more sense than that!!

But Cardboard FINRA could surely suspend his Breakers License, no?
