Apparently I have a Peyton Manning side collection going...
Obviously, I’m a Colts fan and I’m sure most have figured out that Peyton is my favorite player of all-time. He did play for the Broncos and win a Super Bowl for them but he will always be a Colt to me, first and foremost.
I was going through all my stuff last night and I thought I had around 12-15 Peyton auto’s... I was apparently wrong. I genuinely didn’t know I had this many so I guess it qualifies as a side collection now? Firstly, I’ve only been buying Peyton auto’s when he’s in his Colts uniform (outside of the 1998 Press Pass RC auto). I’ll probably never own a Broncos one unless it was a tremendous deal or I really really like the design (2015 Topps Definitive comes to mind). I also really only prefer cards from the pre-Panini era, as that was when I first started seriously collecting and fell in love with this hobby — I believe all but 4 or 5 I have right now are from that era. Leaf/Donruss products were my favorite, but I obviously won’t pass up any UD, Topps or Fleer ones if I loved the set as a teen. Anyway, I posted all these on Instagram a couple of hours ago and figured I’d post them here too before I delete the pics from my phone. So here ya go....         Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy |

My favorite Manning is the 04 AFC Championship Manning at the Razor.
We fondly refer to this image as "Pouty Peyton"  If Poopini made a card out of this, I would buy 2 of them. |
