Hi Blowout! Asking for a friend on Instagram who doesn't have a Blowout account. He's the owner of this Curry logoman but the back of the card doesn't show whether it's player worn or game worn, or just a logoman cut from a random jersey. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am humbly going to try and help.... 2009-10 was the debut of National Treasures and from that year and forward any rookie swatches or patches were always event-worn/player worn NOT game worn. However, that is not the case with veterans in that set, the veterans swatches or patches were game worn. I am going to go on a whim and assume that we all understand what manufactured patches are (which are obviously neither event worn/player worn or game worn).
Now with that being said I am well aware that this card is a 2010-11 National Treasures and NOT a Rookie year Logoman. What this card is based upon Kobe Bryant cards the year before and every after, and same goes with Kevin Durant is THE VERY FIRST GAME WORN STEPHEN CURRY LOGOMAN. In products that are high-end prior to Flawless debuting, all RC's were event worn/player worn and then the second year cards touted game worn memorabilia. You can do the research and this holds true with National Treasures, Immaculate, Prime Silhouettes, etc. I would say after the Curry NT RPA and it's parallels and the Curry Topps Chrome Gold and better (never saw a superfractor) that this card your friend has is the creme de la creme of Stephen Curry cards. Now... I really expect tip now hahaha. |
