Right now it’s Milwaukee’s to lose. They have more depth off the bench than any team, they play amazing defense, and can score in droves.
The Warriors with Cousins would have been my choice. They just have depth issues and are relegated to running Iggy too much with the other 4. I don’t think that lineup without Cousins is better than what the Bucks have put together this season. |

Hate to say it but I still think Golden State is the favorite.
Although this team has more holes than any other Golden State team in the last 4 years, last night is an indication of what happens when they get serious. The team with the best shot of knocking them off is Houston, IMO. Either by beating them, or forcing a hard fought 7 game series that leaves them banged up. Their depth in an issue and they have risks with Curry's ankles and Iggy's/Livingston's age.

I’ll be happy with anyone but Houston or Philly
It’s nice there is some intrigue this year. Can’t remember the last time we had that. |

That said, I think the Eastern Conference 2nd round should be great. Still think the Bucks are the best team plus own home court in a Finals matchup. |

I think the belief that KD is gone is a bigger issue. They’re ready to split. Houston is ready to beat them. I would be bugged if I was you. What makes it worse is I left them out of the last poll too. Sorry. I’d love to see them go the the CF. Quote:
I wonder if that has something to do with his free agency this offseason. He’s gonna get paid. Can’t risk getting hurt right now. Boston has a real shot. None of those four teams would be surprising to come out of the east.

Agreed. I can't even honestly pick a favorite.

I always like to do an allocation. Here’s mine.
Milwaukee - 30% Toronto - 30% Boston - 25% Philly - 15% I can’t remember a second round being anything like that. Conversely, here’s the West for me. GS - 41% Houston - 49% Portland - 6% Denver - 2% SA - 2%

Its the Warriors unless they get bored again, but I expect them to blitz Houston as this has been the challenge they want.
I feel like Boston is getting really chesty for beating a depleted team much narrower than Milwaukee destroyed the Pistons. Let's see what happens when they face a team that isn't going to go scoreless for 6 minute bursts.

Milwaukee was nearly unbeatable at home this season when Giannis plays, losing only 5 times. Losing early in the season to the Suns and Grizzlies by 2 and 3 points respectively. And then losing to the Warriors by 10, Raptors by 7, and Sixers by 5. So home court throughout is huge for them. Ironically the three worst losses they had are all against teams they could still meet in the playoffs. On the flip side, the Bucks have beaten the Warriors, Raptors, and Sixers on the road as well.

The change in the results of the poll are interesting to me. Here is what the breakdown of the predictions looked like the first go round.
![]() It’s interesting to me that despite their poor first round showing, GS increased by nearly 14%! Boston, Toronto and Milwaukee had fairy minor increases and everyone else decreased.

Houston
Why? Just because I don’t care about any of these teams I just think Harden and Paul get it done
