Default Headed to Frankfort, KY

Going to spend 4 nights in Frankfort. Buddy is taking his fifth wheel and we’re staying at elk horn campground. Already booked tours at Buffalo trace and Woodford Reserve. Got golf booked at university club of Kentucky and cherry blossom. Any recommendations on what or where we should experience. Food or any type of experience suggestions are appreciated.

Honestly Frankfort don't have much going for it. Lexington and Louisville are the big towns in KY. Frankfort is about halfway between both. I would suggest taking a tour of the Toyota factory in Georgetown. It is where the Camry is made. Tours are free. Also ale8one, a local soft drink is made in Winchester. Tours there are free also. Frankfort dose have salado wildlife center, it is like a small zoo with native to KY animals only. The have a two headed snake on display too. There is a small admission fee to that. Lexington has many small breweries , most offer free tours. Keeneland is a horse race track in Lexington. Racing starts this Thursday and goes to the 27th I think. It is a must do. Admission is $5. Parking is free, but you may have a small hike. You can pay to park closer, if u want. It is beautiful this time of year. As far as food I suggest Ramsey's in Lexington. There are 4 locations. Southern cooking. If you like go cart racing check out MB2 in Lexington. Carts go 45 mph. You have to wear a helmet, they provide those, unless you bring one. It is a indoor facility. It is sorta expensive, but the do sometimes run specials on Sundays and on groupon.
If you like baseball lexington legends are a single a team of the Kansas city royals and the Louisville bats are a triple a team for the Cincinnati reds. Louisville also have the louisville slugger factory they offer tours for a fee. Also the kentucky derby museum is pretty cool, if you like horse raing. Have fun and hope you enjoy your trip to central KY.
Ps you will not be disappointed at woodford reserve. Beautiful down there.

My wife and I use to buy ale8one's after staying In Kentucky a couple years ago. We were near Winchester, staying in a tree house. Thanks for the suggestions.

I was going to say you already are doing more than I thought was available. It is beautiful country, I would suggest driving around.
