Default Rare Early Ichiro Auto - Real?

Picked this up online and don’t have a ton of info on it. Can anyone help crack the case? 2 things that seem off to me are the thicker card stock of the card and the fact that it is just wide enough to squeeze into a penny sleeve which is odd, but again, maybe I’m just being paranoid. Supposedly only 5-10 of these were given out, would love to learn more and hopefully it’s authentic.

P.S. I’m aware of the condition issues but something this rare makes those a minor issue to me.

UPDATE - The UD Hologram has me thinking twice and since there are supposedly less than 10 of these it give me pause still. I found a different 2003 Ichiro auto for comparison sake...

In my opinion, it does not look real.

Here’s his early autos:

I'm a big ichiro collector who looks at his autos more then most haha. That does not look legit. His rookie yr auto, 03-04 auto and current auto are all different. This does not look close to any of them. IMHO

Shouldn't the hologram be diamond shaped for an autograph?

I know his auto better than any other player and this isn't even close to real.

From collectingichiro.com.

The card might be real but the auto looks fake. Maybe the original auto faded and someone traced it poorly.

Yes it is, but I doubt the card itself (not the auto) is fake.

The auto is fake, but the card is real. 2003 UD Playball Hawaii Conference card. Shame they put a fake auto on an already somewhat rare card.

without even being an ichiro auto guy i can see the problems with both the beginning of the sig (big, round loop as opposed to tight, upright loop) and the end (big tail below his name, which honestly is what it downgrades it from a simple forgery to a bad one)
