For those who remember the MJ run ups of 2015 and 2009, what would you say the chances are that his Fleer RC availability and pricing will be in the next few years? I have hundreds of MJ cards, but no RC. I'd like to get one, but am reluctant to pay the going rate currently.
I would be fine with a low grade one, PSA 1-3 is fine, do you think there is a chance I miss out or based on best guess and history, should I be fine getting one down the road at a lower price than now? I appreciate the help.

They probably won't go down much from here imo. Honestly, for the relative premium people pay for low grade (just to own one), I would shell out the money to get a nice 5. Seems like trying to underspend on this card has ended up turning 1-3s into $1500-2000+ cards real quick.

I bought mine during the 2015 pump. Soon after the market softened.
Looking at the prices now.... I'm glad I bought it. It's an 8.5 with 8 centering, 9 corners and 9.5 edges and surface. I agree with deemsterz...I don't see them going down much after this documentary is over. So many more people are see just how G.O.A.T. he was. Last edited by Ferg1945; 04-28-2020 at 02:26 PM. |
