Default Best authentic helmet for signing

I'm planning on going to a Deion Sanders autograph signing and wanted to get a Cowboys helmet signed. I'm trying to get closest to the real thing as possible, I've heard they used the NFL Riddell VSR-4 ProLine series back in the days (unlike the new "Speed" helmets). However when I see the description of the product it says "Not to be used for play". Are there different editions of the VSR-4 helmets? Kinda like how NBA has authentic and pro-cut jerseys.

Sounds like you are looking at the Replica VSR-4 Helmet. Make sure its a Pro Line On Field Authentic Helmet.

Do you know what the difference between the Riddell Pro Line Authentic Vsr4 and Schutt Pro Air II are? I'm seeing a couple on eBay with the Schutt's line and can't seem to find which helmets they used back in the late 90s.

My opinion on difference is there is a different shape to it, the inside padding is different , the chin strap is different , .I think Riddell proline has more of the old school look to it
