Do you really need to create a new thread for every deal you see?

side note: Am I the only one who chuckles every time I see players wearing tights with knee pads? It is like oven mitts in baseball.

Hey....now the Mavs have THREE guards who can't play defense!

Not a great job of negotiating by Klay.....could've had 2/48 from the Warriors last year, and settled for 3/50 this year.

On the one hand, I'm sad to see him go....on the other hand, I'm happy to see more minutes freed up for Moody and Podz.

Can you send me a link to the confirmed 48/2 offer? Seems like a reference point people keep making

Or was that a while ago?

This is probably the worst trio in defensive history.
But they have nothing to lose. Only Josh Green.

In hindsight too high of an offer at the time!

You may not know but "This one is big!"

Like the Beatles or Wu-Tang just officially broke up. It hurts if you have a heart for NBA Legacy.

It's gonna be different in Big D.

He won't get many passes in shooting rhythm. Most will be late in the shot clock from across the court and he'll have to catch, set feet and shoot with 3 seconds left on the shot clock.

Good Luck Klay

Will Luka and Kyrie give up shots? Time will tell

Has klay defense really fallen off that much? I know he’s not what he used to be but I don’t think he’s on Luka or Kyries level.

He's objectively not a good defender.

This really will cause opponents a conundrum of deciding which weak link to attack.

The T-Wolves are definitely winning two games this time.

As a Warriors fan I am totally fine with him moving on. The years away from basketball and the multiple injuries really has him look most games a shell of his former self and rarely making an impact

Yep. The Mavs are so terrible at defense that they made it all the way to the Finals.

An almost washed Klay is not taking the Mavs to a championship

I actually think Klay will see a resurgence in Dallas. Luka and Kyrie generate enough looks, it's just that Dallas didn't have anyone who could consistently knock anything down with any volume. They can also do a little bit of Klay on the second unit if they want.
