3 degrees out. Feels like -17 with the wind chill. Trees are cracking due to the cold. Very concerned as I live in a tree filled neighborhood.

We had a feels like -20 yesterday in Flint, Michigan.

This weather sucks. I don’t mind the snow but when it’s this damn cold it’s just awful.

-4 deg here in Iowa. Havent been above 20 deg since Christmas Eve with multiple days below 10 deg and frequent wind chill advisories of -10 deg or lower.
Coldest day so far was Jan 1 with high -3 and low of -16 (actual temp).

I don't mind the snow if I can bundle my kid up and go play in it. This type of cold is dangerous and that isn't really an option.

"Global warming, right? Today was supposed to be really cold, I bet."

Down here in Alabammy, our daily highs gave been in the 20s, nightly lows from 8 to 15. Way too cold for us.

Exactly. This is nothing to mess around with.

Just checked and it feels like -20 again today. Nothing like being bright and sunny and still feeling like -20

It's 7 where I live right now, and I'm bored out of my mind. It never really dawns on me how much I like being out and about until the weather turns to crap. . .and by the way, making payments on a motorcycle in January while living in Indiana is friggin sweeeet!

Same here, its been miserable the last week or so. Worst of it was my furnace busted at kick off of the Buffalo Bills game last Sunday and we couldn't even get anyone to look at it until Wednesday morning. Didn't have heat other than a tiny propane heater until Wednesday night. Never got a proper diagnosis of why it wasn't working but was told to replace it anyways. Guy was too busy so I replaced it myself. This summer I am putting in a wood stove as a back up heat source. Being without heat in cold like this and not being able to get a HVAC guy to actually come out was frustrating.
