Default Rare Short Print "Splatter" Kobe Bryant Insert Discovered

https://youtube.com/shorts/9ShuEIRkt...9mAa-RdbpRgHy-

This was the seller's response when I politely told them the card just had surface damage. I found it quite humorous, so thought I would share (they later said they were going to rip up the card I bought earlier.)

I have some ultra-rare green/yellow 1993-94 Topps Finest I'm looking to move. Maybe I should try Whatnot?

Anytime a seller hypes a questionable card, ask if they are buying at 50%

This is both embarrassing and disgraceful.

This guy was definitely one of the kids in primary school who ripped other kids off by lying about what he had

This the same guy with the 1984 Topps Elway with a giant print defect for $15,000?

That was highly entertaining.

But did you notice the surface damage prior to swiping?

The guy sounded angry, even before being called out for his "splatter" BS.

"THE BASE GOES FOR FIFTY DOLLARS -- THIS IS THE SP!"

I bought a different card, once this card came up I just politely told him it had surface damage.

That damage happens when cards sit in regular binder pages way too long and typically get weight stacked on top of it. Either that they came out of screw downs.
