Default Would you go back to 1995 if you could?

No social media, no A.I., etc. Would you do it?

Would I be the age I am now or the age I was then?

Your maturity level would be the same so why does age matter?

Recovery time is much longer these days. Plus I want to know if I'm in college or working.

I'd be 14/15 in 1995, I'd definitely go back, especially if I could bring back the knowledge I have today.

Not in some "Back to the Future II" making money type way, but just the realization that what you wear isn't important and the kids in high school don't matter and that there will be other girls after your high school sweetheart breaks your heart type stuff

Music was pretty good in 1995, but other than that, no. Blowout looks alot like social media in 1995.

I didn’t think you were even born then.

I’ve always assumed we’ve been dealing with some punk kid.

Nope, being young at heart, mind and body is awesome! It could be worse, I could be milling around with bad hips and knees.

I wasn't born yet

But I hear the 80's and 90's were the best years

Can't imagine going to card shows before jerseys/autos/serial numbered inserts and grading though

90s were a great time to be a kid. It was the last generation of bike anywhere, walk anywhere, stay outside from sunrise to sunset, and nobody worried if you were going to make it home okay. You could catch a ride to baseball practice with your coach or have a lemonade with your teacher who lived in the neighborhood without them getting fired or looked at with suspicion.

Contrary to the OP, social media did exist in 1995 but it was a dumbed down version that provided just enough entertainment during the 60-minute window your parents let you clog up the phone line with dial-up internet. I was definitely playing fantasy baseball and had an AOL profile, but it was more about chatting with new people than a 24/7 news cycle with memes and videos.

1999? Yes
1995? No

I’d go back to College but have no interest in going back to before I could even drive

I assume this is a 30 year thing though

That’s too Back to the Future

Sure I’ll go back and invest in Nvidia in 1995

So it’s kind it a garbage poll as it should just say you to back to the way you were

Or at minimum you can’t use any knowledge for monetary gain… and if so what’s the point?
