Default MLB16 the show - need help with pitching accuracy *

I played two games today and my pitchers were ALL OVER THE PLACE! Walked 10 guys...so is there something that I'm not doing or a perfect way of pitching so i can place the ball/pitch where I move the target? Even my 4 seam fastballs I wanted down the middle missed the zone...? Any help would be appreciated! Anyone else experience this? What am I doing or not doing? Is it something with release point and how do I adjust this?

Thanks

Are you pushing the button on the way up for power and on the way down for accuracy? Are you stopping it on or around the yellow line?

I don't have that. I pick the pitch I want and then position where I want to throw it with left joystick thing and then hit X when I have it where I want to throw it. Maybe I'm set on a different difficulty level.

Hmmm no idea. Haven't really toyed with the skill some at all. You don't have a meter that moves after you push X?

No meter...maybe I will see if that's an option but anyone else able to help with accuracy issues if you don't have a meter?

You can switch to meter pitching in the settings. Currently you're probably either using single button (which is easy but goes you no control over the outcome) or the mode where you use the joysticks to perfect accuracy

If you don't have a meter, hit x when the blinking circle is small as possible.

Blinking circle? I'll have to look closer as I don't remember that.
