I opened a few hangers tonight and half of the cards were super glossy. Reminded me of the old Toy-r-us boxed sets. I did I little research but was unable to find anything about them. I am guessing nothing special they just seemed odd.
Kind of hard to see in the pictures but you can see how the light reflects off of each differently. ![]()

I recall a few that I thought were new “Frosted Donut” parallels. Except they were the opposite of sticky, slip sliding all over the place.

I had cards that looked gloss-less and some that looked slick. I chalked it up to inconsistent/sloppy printing and figured they might be using some different printers or stock styles on accident. However, I wouldn't consider these any kind of different card or variation at all.

I had a card so glossy the auto I got on it bubbled up. Now I have to prep all Topps cards.
Don't know what is going on. |

Sorry to bump but I encountered the same issue.
Got around to opening some hangers and the last 4-5 cards in each pack had a definite "Glossy" apprearance.
