Default Your pet combinations?

Hey guys.

My girlfriend and I have had a Chihuahua for a few months now... (she is 5 months old) Her name Is Emma and she is very smart She sits, lays and plays fetch so far for tricks. Dog treats really work lol

GF & I have been considering getting her a friend for a while... Well today we went to the pet store and pretty much immediately fell in love with a 2 and a half month old Beagle (mix, pretty small). We named her "Gracie".

As soon as we brought her into the house Emma and her went crazy playing! Running throughout the house over and over lol.

Pretty odd combination huh? I just hope Gracie can learn how to be potty trained quick from Emma and I hope they get along and become great friends!

Anybody else have any odd pairs like this? They are both going to remain inside dogs and only be outside when we are outside with them.

Cool...congrats on the new addition!

Right now we have a Border Collie, Golden Retriever, and Husky.

At one time we also had a combination of a Golden Retriever, Basset Hound and Rottweiler. They all got along great!

Awesome man! Thank you

I think all dogs CAN get along and be great friends if raised right or raised together.

Gracie is laying on me asleep right now haha she is a sleepy little lady... Emma is on the couch with my Girlfriend.. This is great.

Beagle, rock on.

We had Cat 1 (Sox), Cat 2 (Blizzard), and Dog (Cosmo). Sox & Cosmo did not get along so they just stayed away from one another. We only have Blizzard left.

Blizzard always put up with Cosmo (below):

I had a 70 lb Pit Bull and a 6 lb Papillon. They were the best of buddies. I sure miss these dogs.

Emma and Gracie are playing like crazy lol running around chasing each other!

This is very cool to see...

GF and I were worried that Emma would be miserable always home alone when we were at work but now things are definitely different!

We had a Rottweiler(Samson) and a St Bernard(Bernie) for several years. We got the Bernard first and after a few months the Wife said we needed to get him a friend so we got the Rott. We lost the Bernard 2 yrs ago to old age and the Rott last year to bone cancer. They were house dogs(our babies) and I still miss them very much

6 months ago we adopted this little 70 lb. Pit Bull(Bubba Chuck) from the same shelter we got the other 2 from.

We also have an Orange Wing Amazon Parrot and a pair of African Senegal Parrots. Had the Senegal pair since 1993 when they were babies. Got the Amazon from a friend in 1998. He got the bird in 1981 and was told it was old then.

My cat Simba with my husky Keisha

Simba disappeared on us one day. Don't know where he went. He was the only cat we ever had that was both an in-house and outside cat. It was pretty sad.

I have a Morkie (half maltese/ half yorkie) and he is so stinkin cute! He is a much bigger Morkie than usual at 15 pounds (only supposed to be like 6) but he is super duper loving and very smart. My cousin's dog, who I spend quite a time with up there in KC is a Doxle (half beagle/half dachshund) she is a nice dog to people she knows, but she is a brat. She can't go on walks because she thinks every human and every dog is going to attack us. Affectionate and very needy. She has an "It's all about me" attitude. She plays dumb but I think she is secretly smart

The Lion King is my favorite movie of all time and you named your cat Simba. That means we're soulmates. Come over here and hold me.

In all seriousness though, we have a 40-lb mutt (Brutus) and a 3-lb yorkie (Buckeye) that love to hate each other. Buckeye will just bark and and bark directly into the face of Brutus, and all Brutus does is sit there. He will sometimes shove Buckeye's head into the cement softly, but they are the worst of best friends.

We too lost a cat once. Frisky was sitting atop the car while my brother drove away. We never saw the cat again.
