Selected to be honored guest of the Tampa Yankees

So just got a call from my SGM saying I was "randomly" selected to be an honored guest of the Tampa Yankees next Monday. Getting all the below

-Private Suite seating with fellow members/family(total of 20 people).
-A baseball (for autographs), hats, food and beverages.
-During the national anthem a service member will stand out on the field with a player while there guest is in the suite.

And throw out the first pitch. Any decent players on the AAA Yankees team I should get autos/talk to? Never been to a minor league game but if its free its for me

That's awesome man. Well deserved and glad that clubs at all levels are showing this kind of respect to our nation's armed forces.

thanks yes and looks like theyre playing Dunedin. I think Blue Jays team and not sure who they have.

congrats man, that's very exciting! they're actually the Hi-A yankees affilate and have a ton of prospects, such as Eric Jagielo, Dante Bichette, Jr., Angelo Gumbs, Cito Culver, Greg Bird, Manny Banuelos and Peter O'Brien.

My guess is only ManBan, Jagielo, Bichette and Gumbs ever actually make their MLB debuts in pinstripes. Have a great time!

ah ok yea she told me they were AAA so I took her word for it. I get to mingle with both teams for pictures and get autos before the game. Will have to hit up the good ones for sure. Theyre going to make me wear a Yankees hat as much as I hate that but I get free food and booze so ill play nice

I spent a few years working down in Tampa. Loved Steinbrenner Stadium. Had some good times there.

We used to 'expense' client seats on the front row by the Yanks bullpen. Me and a buddy were there when Pineda messed up his shoulder. We watched him warm up and called it, he looked lazy.

Dang I miss Tampa!

It's not that bad at all. I've been there 100's of times.

well I stayed at the same hotel they put the players up in and lets just say it was a VERY interesting night. Had crackheads and prostitutes knocking on my door and all over the area. Maybe there was just a crack/whore convention going on or something at the time
