Default License plate placement

New York requires front and rear license plates. Are they stupid?

Answer in the poll!

Poll fail. Where is the Stifle choice for no license plates since they are only a money grab and a way for the government to track your movements?

With the amount of crazies on the road I want as much opportunity to identify them on my dashcam and house cams as possible.

I thought about something like that but realized it was ridiculous.

NJ is both.. however my car and theres no place to put the front plate without drilling holes through the bumper.. and youre not going to destroy a Roush Mustang like that!. I put mine in the lower right hand corner of my dash/windsheild.
if i get pulled over by local cops, they never even look and its never an issue.. if i get pulled over by state trooper, they walk around the front of the car and see there is no spot to put it and they are cool with it.

Both should be required. Ohio changed recently to just 1. It's ridiculous

Why do you get pulled over so much?

Living in TX, many years in-between a sports car and a Taco truck, I never been pulled over for speeding, or no license plate. I did get pulled over for going over the line years ago, a state trooper never asked about the license plate, but he checked my ultra clean record and let me go. And I don't put license plate on the front windshield, I leave under the seat.
