Autograph Authentication/Grades

Hi Everyone,

Is there a breakdown of which grading companies only do autograph grading/authentication without grading the card?

BAS - I know they will authenticate the AUTO and grade the AUTO for an additional fee. The problem is, some of my oddball bowling HOF auto's are not in their system, and I just want the AUTO authenticated and/or have the AUTO graded also. Is there a way to ask them to authenticate oddball AUTO's?

PSA - They will grade only the AUTO, but for $37.50 a card that's more than the AUTO is worth.

CGC - I know they in conjunction with JSA now, but I don't see a way to just get the AUTO graded without grading the card.

SGC - Do they even grade AUTOs anymore?

Do you mean without "authenticating" the card? You can always ask any company to grade a card as just AUTH, but that is still grading (authenticating) the card.

I'm fine with the card having a AUTH "grade". I'll look into that.
