Came out today.
Not the best release imo but I believe it still deserves a thread since it has its fans plus it still has some nice stuff and the redemptions always garner some buzz similar to OPC |

I opened 2 boxes just to see some new rookies. Exactly one 25/26 rookie in 2 boxes, Dylan Duke from the Lightning. Did get a wild card and sabres rookie redemption, but I was looking for actual rookies.
This is watered down a ton even compared to last year it seems. |

Yeah I’ve seen zero Demidovs so far and it’s so early there’s not a ton of guys to be excited about ripping this.
Some of the relics are neat though |

We can probably just hit "rinse, repeat" on the dilution hotkey moving forward with new hockey releases.

Interested to see how different flagship is, that will be a real barometer. Artifacts seems like a set they experiment with sometimes to see what they can get by (minuscule jersey patches last year leap tp mind).

As much as people bash Artifacts, If you can get it for around $100-$110 a box it provides a relatively good return if breaking by the case.
If you list early, you can average at least $40-$50 a box just by selling the Aurums and redemptions. |

That is true, that’s the thing though it’s now two crowds and this issue arose with Stature. The crowd who only cares about returns and thus a product like this is good while Stature at its price prob wasn’t for most people. Then you have the crowd that doesn’t solely focus on that and most agree Stature cards are beautiful and they still love them, on the other hand Artifacts is quite boring, has sticker autos and has regressed from previous years. Everyone has different criteria for a “good” product now depending on their intentions. When everyone agrees a product is good which rarely happens (maybe SP this year?) then you know it’s a legit good product
