Default Bulk Lot of Bryson autos at Goodwill

Anyone looking for a bulk lot of Bryson DeChambeau autos? Well, here’s some at a Goodwill auction. Hope these weren’t a redemption!

I wonder if UD is the High Bidder. Weird as these are pretty recent and probably for Redemptions not yet expired

Those have to be stolen from the mail or something along those lines. It’s like someone intercepted them on the way back from Bryson

Wouldn't these be Upper Deck's property? They have proof they were intended for the company.

A pawn shop can't sell stolen goods. Why should Goodwill?

I might give Upper Deck a call. They might not be aware of this.

Exactly, there’s no way Goodwill should be selling this. It’s obviously either Bryson or UD’s lost property. UD needs to be shown this so they can contact Goodwill. I’m betting that Bryson mailed these out and UD never got them or they were flat out stolen.

Who steals a bunch of autos to give to Goodwill? Lol do the profits not go to Goodwill? Wouldn’t make a ton of sense even as a last ditch effort after trying to move them secretly.

It’s funny for how little these companies care about consumers people are ready to hop up and rat on Goodwill to them lol card companies can really do anything and people will still stand in line for them and salute while doing so lol

It doesn’t make much more sense but I’d imagine these were lost and either someone in a mail room or someone who received them by mistake knew they’d be valuable and wanted to do a good thing by giving that money to Goodwill. I’d say maybe Bryson or someone close accidentally put them in a donation pile for Goodwill but not only would that be crazy you’d also assume Goodwill would reach out to see if it was purposefully done unless he dumped a bag and drove off

They may have been pulled from the trash like the Jackson Merrill cards a little while back.

A quick search doesn’t show these on a checklist, maybe they came back late and were trashed?

those were unsigned, these are signed, so i doubt if they ended up in the trash.. more like the other golfer that was found will all the autos already signed.

Certainly possible. Maybe UD gave them away.

Edit: These are from Goodwill in North Florida. UD is in Carlsbad, CA.

eBay will be flooded with these.

This lot is easily worth over 150K if all of the Exquisites are there. The brown boxes at the top hold a lot of cards. Good chance the Exquisites are in there. No way he signed that many of the Goodwin cards shown on the left and middle top brown boxes.

That's crazy. 100% looks like these were on their way to UD and "fell off the truck."

Yeah, I'm just spitballing. I'm having trouble believing these were stolen just to end up in Goodwill.

These sets came out a couple years ago- maybe they were just in a storage locker and forgotten about until now. Who knows.

Those are amazing cards. I wish they would not have been lost and included in 2021 SP Authentic Golf like they were supposed to.

Just heard they canceled the auction and pulled it entirely, UD must have gotten involved

Called in and spoke to a rep, they said they weren't supposed to list them all together like that and "will be sending in for authentication" so they canceled the entire auction and will not be relisting on that platform. Let the whole auction run before deciding that, sounds like a BS excuse IMO.

I told the rep sounded like a fake story. She said they reserve the right to cancel items and it was management decision to "authenticate the items" and refused to give any info if they'd be for sale after "authenticated" or what the plan would be. I think they were caught off guard with the sales price and some people watching called in to get them thinking they can make more. Truly hope UD goes after em after that nonsense and gets their property back

I sent UD an email this morning. the response: "Our management, team has been made aware of this situation. Thank you so much for reaching out."

to the flip scammers:

If not before, maybe someone will get some additional info from UD during the National. Would be good to see UD get these back.
